ABOUT CAROL BONETO
I am Carolina, the person behind the designs and creations of Carol Boneto.
The place from where I create is my home: the island of Ibiza.
My multidisciplinary background and experience in areas such as interior design is transmitted in my current artisanal ceramic work.
With my handmade ceramics made in Ibiza, I aspire to create contemporary designs while maintaining the artisanal essence of this art.
My philosophy is to do this in a calm, sustainable and respectful way; therefore I work with traditional techniques, respecting the slow and calm processes of this artisan craft.
My pieces are inspired and created on the island of Ibiza, in the Mediterranean sea.
Both my home and workshop are located in a small village in the north of the island where I get to create surrounded by nature.
My project Carol Boneto was born on the island of Ibiza, where I have my studio in the tranquillity of the countryside. The environment and the sculptural traditional Ibicencan architecture are my source of inspiration. The austerity of its volumes, the simplicity of its cubic shapes adapted to the land,... Here is where I have found in ceramics the way to reconnect, to work in peace and quiet and simply be me.
